Brian Eberly Makes Poverty History

Colorado Springs, Colo. - A local Good Samaritan, convinced that global poverty could be eliminated, decided to do something about it and has made history by releasing the last child from extreme poverty.

Brian Eberly visited Compassion.com to see what could be done about this wide spread issue. That was where Eberly was presented with the opportunity to sponsor Mutuyimana Eric, a 12 year old African boy. "I didn't hesitate," said Eberly recalling the visit to the web site. "I clicked that Sponsor Me button as quick as I could, I was eager to do my part in this." What Brian didn't know was that Mutuyimana Eric was the last child waiting for a sponsor in order to rid the world of extreme poverty.
